03 440ex MX for sale

[440ex2001]

2003 440ex has a Ross 440 89mm 11.2:1 kit installed only 5 tanks since installed. Oil and Filter has been changed between each tank. It has just been broke in.I really love this quad its a dream to ride. It is my first quad and I've never had any probs out of it. I have recently started going to local mx track and have gotten bit by the racing bug. While i can run with predators and stock 450's I know if I want to be competitive I need to go with a 450. The bike jumps great lands like its on a cloud handles awesome and has lots of torque. I'll let it go for 4500 OBO. Dont be afraid to make an offer. I am open to neg. Not willing to part out as of now.

something in ur front end is screwed up. look at the last pic. the a-arms dont extend to the same spot. also i think ur frame is bent .

The front end looks like that because he has +1 uppers and +2 lowers. He posted this picture not to long ago and I asked the same question.

i understand thats why the tires are camebered as the are. but im saying the lower a-arms do not extend at the same angle. look at the lower shock mount they are not even.

haha, no the front end is fine. Plus one uppers plus two lowers for better handling. The frame is not bent. I dont understand why you would say something like that. The bumper is a little bent from getting pulled out of the mud but not the frame. If it were bent I would have said it was.

both bikes run strong and have never been raced.

Anything wrong with it at all? Just curious, what is the point of +1 uppers and +2 lowers? Would that make it like 2" wider per side still?

I bought it with like that. I think it handles alot better this way. It has a few cosmetic things wrong with it like a crack behind the seat that I will have fixed before sale and the plastic over the gas tank is missing a holding peg so it has a gap between the side panel. Mechanically it is in good shape. It has a p&p head that might have a leaky seal because it smokes alittle when first started but stops after about 30 seconds. The engine runs very very strong. I will ship to PA for a cost of shipping.
