Does anyone have any opinions on this bike? Would i be just as good off with a 125 2 stroke?

Get a crf250 or a yz250f... the kawazuki has a very outdated kayaba suspension and the feel is supposed to be cramped.. I know the good things about it was the light feeling and the strong motor but the yamahas motor is the strongest.. very good bottom hit all the way to the top. The honda has a decent motor... but the suspension and ride is incredible on it... in every aspect and both the yamaha and hondas brakes were considerably better then the kawazuki. So if your looking for a good all around bike... the honda's overall handling and ergonomics are great and the yamaha's engine and power are both right there. I got my honda for 5700 in Pennsylvania

YZ250f is the best 250 four stroke.

That doesnt make any sense... you'll never be able to find a 125+ class motorcycle anywhere close to 4000 dollars. And once you ride it.. your resale value completely drops...

Just get the honda for an all around good bike.. the handling is there, the motor is excellent, and its the bike of choice for lots of testers. If you like all out power and need lots of top end get the yz250f.

Good luck

yz250f- 5-15mph 0.64 sec. 15-40mph-2.58 sec. 20-50mph- 3.72 sec.

crf250r- 5-15mph 0.69 sec. 15-40mph-2.76 sec. 20-50mph-4.14 sec.
in a drag race the yamaha wins. i have heard that the yz250f top end lasts twice as long as the hondas. the honda may be a better pick though.

Well what the deal is is i heard rumors of the dealership losing Kawi, now tonight in the paper they had an ad saying stuff was dealer cost. Tommorrow after school i'm going to check it out from what i've heard dealer cost is like half, so for $3,000-4,000 i think it would be worth it...

ok did you not read his post ?????

He clearly said that the dealer is selling every thing at cost.
It might not be as low as 4000$ but it probably close

the 4 stroke 250's seem really cool but you have to make sure to maintain them. they say the fourstrokes are more to maintain then the 2 strokes. i think valve adjustment is a big thing on the 4 stroke bikes but if they are maintained well they rip!

the 05yz125 are the nastiest bikes made. even tho its a two stroke its got the aluminum frame and has the most power in a 2 stroke. lightest in its class.

i thought the RM-Z250 and KX250F were the same bike........and as motors go the kxf and rmz will hold up for along time and will out run the honda as well as the yfz......but i think the rmz and kxf are easier to ride (as in first starting off) they are easy to use and that fun stuff.....but if you have been riding dirtbikes for along time go for the yfz its nice as H&LL lol.......and last if you are just looking for something to ridr on trails with out alot of hassle the crf is the bike for you
