Go to your dealer. Spending the money on good bars is worth it but if your in a pinch and need a set of bars to ride you can pick up a set of FLY Bars from your dealer for under $20. I keep a spare set of cheap bars around just in case.

Or get a good set of bars, and dont roll all the time. Most steering stems should hold up to a bit of abuse. To me rider safety is more important then shelling out cash. I have seen many times riders coming down from a hard landing and snapping their CHEAP bars. So what would you rather have a busted up face, or a tweaked stem?

Actually most good handles bars cost more than replacing a stock steering stem on a 400ex. Being that a stock stem is only $40. Im not so sure it would matter what bars you're using if u break ur wrist riding. Aluminum renthals flex more than a pair of steel ones, and I broke my wrist on my renthals.
