hey i have a jet kit and k&n air filter and yoshi slip on and everyone are saying they take off their air box lids. i took mine off but when i get to higher rpm it cuts out, so i just put it back on thinking i was runnung too lean. is it worth re-jetting and taking off the lid or should i let it be. or could i get more power by re-jetting and removing the air box lid?

It depends on where you ride, if you ride where there is alot of mud and water then you wouldnt want to run it with the air box lid off. If you were going to run it with the lid off you might want to buy one of those Outerwares air box covers, check out this review on them- Outerwares Air Box Cover Review (http://www.exriders.com/reviews/aircover.shtml)

If you take your lid off, you will deffinetly need to rejet, you will probably have to go up on your main jet, im not real sure, i dont have alot of jetting experience but look around on the forum and Im sure you'll get your answer, good luck, hope i helped a lil, later
