z400 jetting

hey my friend has a z400 with a k&n airfilter wth a pro-flow kit and hes getting a yoshimura rs-3 carbon fiber slip-on. he didnt rejet for the filter, but we're thinking go up one size when he gets the slip-on..what size should he get and what about the air mixture screw?

id go up more than 1 size, go up like 5 or 6...always go a little richer than leaner....at least thats what i was told by mike baldwin of baldwin motorsports...tim farr's motor builder...

A guy at my local dealer said that stock z-400's have 130 as there main jet. He told me to go to a 135.Is that 5 sizes?

Mikuni sizes increment 2.5 --- so up 5 would be a 147.5 Mikuni main.

If you are running with the lid off you should be looking at a 160 or 165 main.

Im curently running my z with a K&N and the air box lid on. If i were to get a slip on yoshi should I run a 150 main jet?
