Will 450 Accept 250r Parts?

OK GUYS I HAVE A 86' 250R WITH JUST ABOUT EVERY AFTERMARKET PART A 250R CAN HAVE SET UP FOR MX. WELL I JOINED THE BANDWAGON AND BOUGHT A TRX450. I WAS WONDERING WHAT PARTS WILL FIT ON THE 450 FROM THE 250. THE AXLE AND CARRIER MEASURE MENTS SEEM TO BE THE SAME. I'M NOT SURE ABOUT THE REAR SHOCK. THE FRONT TOP A-ARMS ARE THE SAME. THE BOTTOMS ARE ABOUT A INCH WIDER THAN THE 250R. DO THE SHOCKS FIT? PLEASE HELP ME OUT GUYS

I wouldn't transplant any parts from a 250r to the 450... even if the shocks and axle's fit, the difference in weight in machines could give you alot of trouble, especially in shocks.... but thats just my opinion, if you wanna try, go right ahead, I'd like to hear the results! good luck!

THATS WHAT I WAS THINKING ALSO. I WAS THINKING OF GETTING THE LONG TRAVEL A-ARMS FORSURE FOR THE 450R AND TRYING THE 250R SHOCKS AND IF THEY DONT WORK THEN I'LL JUST HAVE TO DISH OUT ANOTHER $1400 FOR NEW SHOCKS. ANOTHER QUESTION I HAVE IS WHAT PERFORMANCE PARTS ARE WORTH BUYING FOR THE 450R CUZ I HAVE COMPLETE PRO CIRCUIT EXHAUST, K&N FILTER, AND JETTED, AND I HAVE BEEN PULLING OFF HOLESHOTS WITH IT, SO I DONT REALLY NEED MUCH MORE POWER BUT MORE WOULDNT HURT.WHATS GOOD AND WHATS NOT?

the shocks will not work, none of them. also why would you ever think std travel shocks would work with LT a-arms?

The axle and nearing carrier are not the same i could be wrong but i dont think they will work...

What made you ever think that he was thinking about puting std travel shocks on lt arms? lol I think he already knew that, sounds like he was asking if he could put 250r LT shocks on a LT arm'd 450r.

well just for your information i'm not that dumb. i wasnt planning on trying to make 16in. shocks fit on 19in. a-arms. i want to go from 250r LT to 450 LT. but thanks for taking the time to reply to me
