the stco carb will work, but an aftermarket carb would be well worth the money, you would notice a huge difference in power. i would go with a 28mm

A friend of mine put a 30mm carb on his Blaster after just porting it himself and milling the head, along with a pipe and silencer and it made a big difference. I'd definately go with a bigger carb.

I rode a buddy of mine's blaster. I didn't like it at all, it didn't handle that well, and i thought the throttle response was better on my 300. I like my 300 much better. But hey, its your quad man, be happy you have it, and do with it what you want! My buddy had a full rebuild with a stock bore high comp. piston, some reeds, and a DG pipe and silencer. He put a Minuki 34mm. on his. I told him he was crazy to go so big! But he insisted, and it works ok too, plus has a lil more power he said (but i think he's just on the purple pills ;) ) Ya, i'd go bigger

the motor won't run to it's full potential with the stock carb. call up Trenga and get a flat side 30mm. the 28mm is a little weak for a 240 and anything bigger than a 30mm is too big.

so your sayin if i get the 240 kit i can run the stock carb till i get enough money for an aftermarket and when i get enough money i should go with a 30 mm

Yes, basically we're just saying that it's not running to it's fullest potential. The 26mm carb is restricting to bigger bore size because there is more volume thus creating more of a vacuum which sucks in more air/fuel...so to compensate for that, you increase the size of your carb and you will see more power available.

are you getting the complete kit or just the sleeve?
