Has anyone used one of these do they work well or is it just a wast of money

they work but i think that they are a waste of money IMO but they do tell u ur top speed and other stuff but i think its just extra weight and can easily get messed up riding in trails and on trakcs....

I used mine for about 1yr and never had a problem with it.. I rolled my bike and MX,FT and it works perfect...It tells you the top speed,avg speed,miles,etc...It's worth the money if you ask me..
It also help me develop my skills on the mx track..

yeah doesnt it let you time your self? i think im gunna ask to get it for christmas or buy it with my christmas money...
where would i mount it because if it goes on the handlebars i have a 300EX and it has the plastic on the handlebars

you can mounted where ever you feel like..I had mine right next to the cluth lever on the bars..The bars will be your best bet..And yes it has a timer..I have pictures if you would like to see..

I got one I will sell you for 50 shipped with the mounting bracket. However you will have to order another cable for it, mine got tore off. I paid like 170 someting for everything. The plastic on the handle bars will have to be removed, and the bracket I have is for a 400ex, but if the handlebar bolts are the same distance apart on a 300ex then it will boltup.

Whao 170..you got raped..I paid 60 brand new..But I guess you probably got the mounting kit with it huh?

They're a cool little device but can't hold up in harsh riding conditions and break eventually.
