Would you run the AC Propegs with or without the heal guards?
Any and all opinions welcome. Are they functional or just get in the way?

If this matters I woods ride. Hopefully in the future, I will do some hairscrambles and maybe a gncc. So whats your opinion?

They only get in the way of mud and your foot gettin' caught between the footpeg and rear tire. :blah

My buddy has them on his and the top bar on the heel guard is rubbing holes in the rear fenders. So even though I don't run the AC bars I would not use the heel guard.

I do a lot of trail riding and love mine they are much better than the factory ones for stopping water and mud plus they keep your feet from hitting the tire. I have ridden with them off and on, so I have tried both ways in my opinon put them on..:D

I like em on......just cut the plastic a little so it dont rub. The plastic will actually eat through the aluminum.....ALOT quicker than you think. Like a few hours riding.

I like tha pro-pegs looks and how they work better with em off.

Well I went with leaving them on.
I will see how that works. they seem to be much stronger on though. I had to drill a hole for a bolt through the pegs to make them snug .

I put them on at first. I liked the protection they gave me. However, they didn't really fit all that well, right from the beginning. I found that when I was in the back seat going through woops, that my heels were bottoming out on them, preventing me to roll my foot to the back of the peg. I took them off and like it without them much better. However, if I ever race XC, I'd put them back on.

mine are rubbing to and they have left a ident in the heel graud and a black spot on my plastic, but i love em my feet always seem to slip off the peg ( i have the pro pegs) and they always are there to stop me from my foot being jammed in the wheel.

I have riden twice now with them on. I thought they would hold mud really bad but I was wrong. To tell you the truth the pegs hold as much or if not more mud than they do.
