just took 'em off for a greasing and cleaning and saw this. havent checked other one yet. normal?

Yeah, this is normal. The movement of the springs against the plastic collar causes this.

thanks, i knew it was the coils, just didnt know it was normal :D

might as well throw this in here, does this look like it's line up right and everything (the front sprocket gaurd). i'm not sure if this is how it looked or not, because when i took it off everything was jammed with debris and dirt so i cant visualize how it looked before.
