clutch cable broke

my clutch cable broke sunday. i was wondering i cant get a new cable till wednesday. could i ride it a lil with out the clutch. what could happen

i dont know how you would start out, but if you can manage it then it's ok. i think i read an article on atvconnectionmag.com that if you let off the throttle and shift without the clutch then it's ok.

you could if you shift when your high enough in the rpms then let off the gas. thats what most ppl who race do its called power shifting. if you have a heavy enough transmission oil like 80 weight you could but i wouldnt recomen it.
