1987 trx250r for sale.
I have a 1987 trx250r that has not been ridden in 6 years. Has all parts. I have 3 motors for it that I would like sell separate.
The rolling chasse does not have wheels. The plastic and seat is on it is in vary bad shape. Some of the bearings in the front wheels do not turn very easy but that should be easy to replace. The frame is in very good shape the rep paint is faded and it has been painted over with black that has started to come off. Axel is strait the rear carrier bearing feel good. All the break parts are there but it will need new pads for sure. This quad was in very nice shape when it was parked but has been sitting for 6 years so it will need some loving. I have an fmf fatty pipe that will go with the rolling chasses there is no dents but there is rust on it.
The first one is a 1987 265 motor that I bought off ebay early this year. The motor runs very good and had a fresh rebuild on it when I received it. I installed it and put maybe ½ hour on it before deciding to build a drag quad instead. The motor is ported for MX and I was told it was ported by JD Racing there is a JD engraved on the jug. The motor pulls very hard I was told is should make 50hp. I have a 40mm lectron the needs to be reassembled and the stock carb will also come with it.
The second motor is the original motor from the quad. It ran when I broke the clutch side cover. It should only need a clutch side cover. I will take pic of it. It had 4 hours when it broke. It has been sitting for a long time in my garage so it may need a top end fresh up.
The third is a 1987 cr250 motor I bought it for parts for the TRX motor but when I received it I found out it was a cr motor instead. The lower looks good but the piston was shot. The head is pitted I am not sure if it need a new one of if it can be repaired. I will also take pic’s of it.

I will not split up the chasses at this time. If I don’t get any good offers I might at that time. I will sell all three motors separate or all as on package with the frame.
