is there anythign wrong with putting leaded 110 gasoline in quads? like will it clog the carb or anything? (high comp piston and motorwork)

if your talking any VP or cam2 fuel...no it will be fine...i would mix it 50/50 with high octane pump gas though....

oh yeah, the only way you need to run this fuel is if you have a high comp piston....so your good to go...some people think that they have to run VP C12 so they can get 50 more horse out of their bike...

I run a mix of premium and leaded 110 with my 330.

I just use straight 110 in mine... You are right though, after some time it CAN leave deposits in the carb so its a good idea to remove it and spray it out w/ cleaner once or twice a season...

well i was just wondering because when my quad was a 330ex, i ran straight texaco 110 leaded gas, and after about 11 races.. my carb turned to **** pretty much, i mean the throttle response got bad it started to bog..but i cleaned the hell out of it.. and still no such luck, and i dont want to run this fuel when i get my aftermarket carburator if its gonna freak it up.. i'll just buy VP racing fuel if i got to

Sunoco makes a 118 also. Just remember the lead is good for the valves.

My uncle runs the sonoco 118 in his 440 sno jet. I was wondering these questions myself. I will be running a 406/416 piston haven't decided yet with prolly like 10.8:1 Would it benefit it to run the 107 leaded at the pumps around here? I know the lead is good for the valves, but I also know higher octane is harder to start. Is that compression going to allow the use of higher octane or should I just stick with 94?
