what quad for flat track/TT racing

you cant go really wrong with either of them, from what i hear the 450r is good and the yfz both at this type of racing/riding, but the yfz seems more motocross to most riders and the 450r seems more xc, so i guess it all depends on power, which if im not mistaken they are both closely matched, so i would have to say it would have to be with your prefs of what you like in a quad and the feel, try sitting on both at the dealership, maybe do a test ride if they allow it then pick from there.. :)

the feeling i get from seeing both perform on the short track is that the 450r is more set up for it out of the box, than the yfz.. if you want to race ST with the yfz, you have to most likely change out the swingarm cuz its a little longer , where the 450r's swinger is shorter( which you want)... they both have the power and both have the potential , but as far as spending money, $700 saved on a swinger, could give a lot more attention to the motor, and other components to fine tune a 450r. just a thought
