well whatever floats your boat, im 6'3" 230lbs, a 300 just dont cut it for me...lol im into the whole mx scene, and you cant do jack $hit with a 300 now days, with all these damn hybrid 4 strokes and what not...gotta have somethin to atleast stay within their roost..lol and not get lapped... :blah:

yea, and those 450cc bikes probably wont stay very stock either. it's just really hard to make the ex competitive anymore.... kick *** for trails though :muscle:

Hey throwinup, you must not every look outside your own garage! Did you miss the article on the Fourstroke Tech build on a 300ex? It stomped a whole in the *** of a Suzi 400! As far as your little girlie comment goes...Look in the mirror! If you are that big, get on a big quad. I'm not trying to start anything but it annoys me to see a fellow rider bust the balls of someone he does not know for asking a simple question. Maybe he is really young, maybe he simply can't afford a larger machine right now, whatever the case he just asked for an opinion on the exhaust not what your favorite quad is! I started out on a 1987 TRX200SX, then to a 1987 TRX250X, now we have an 04 TRX450R. Does this mean that the 400 is a piece of ****, no it means that I chose to get a different quad than you and that is it. Don't bust someone's balls unless there is a reason, if you think your quad is all of that bring it to Michigan, our team would be glad to show you the way around some of our local MX tracks!:cuss:

Listen here throwin up, you better bring a whole lot more than just a 330R. My team has shown that is not all about motor, If you can't ride it does'nt matter how much engine you have! If you don't ride the entire track with the throttle pinned you don't need more motor! So please, oh please, bring it this summer! I will be glad to post my team and personal scores if you want to compare... You might want to do your research before you call someone out, you are in Ohio.... That is not too far away for us to come down there to your own track to see whats up. Who said anything about not riding in the winter? Maybe you should check out the indoor series....

I personally dont like the big guns either, just an opinion. The xr's only makes really good pipes for the 400ex. They originally only made parts for well ...... XR's. Then when the 400ex came out in 99, they had to do something to keep from going under so they started making parts for the 400ex, as well as every other aftermarket company. They make a lot of good stuff for the 400ex. They have been working on xr 400 motors since they came out, so they know what they're doing. There was a test done on an XR's ONLY 440ex about 6 months ago in atv action. Really good ratings. I hope this answers your question cause apparently no one else is capable of recommending anything unless they own it. :rolleyes: I'm willing to bet 99% of these idiots haven't even tried other pipes, they are just saying what they own and then telling you that this and that suck because thats what they hear from other people. I'm just waiting for someone to tell you to run straight pipe! Thats the hot setup these days! LOL. Hope this helps somehow dude.
