90% of the project is done and it has been tested several times. Next addition will be a much needed wheelie bar!

I can see how that would be a little wheelie prone. How many people got thrown off the back?

Looks sweet.

And remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

I like that.
Weld on a foot bar so people can put thier feet on something and you'll be set.

thing looks pretty sweet man. Wheelie bar, bar for feet to rest on and a long straight pipe running out the back and you will be set:devil:

Bergy

Actually that's what we want to do to finish it.

Wheelie Bar
Foot Rest
Exhaust (we already have a straight pipe on it, gonna rig up a nice shiny chrome tip on the end  )

Also as you could expect, it kinda turns like crap. So we want to rig up a half or quarter barrel sideways on the front forks filled with sand. (Depends how much motivation we get, it runs and drives as is, just kinda hairy on the loose stuff, pushes like a dumptruck)

We were going to big outriggers on each side but after riding it like it is we decided to leave it. It's always neat to see what people come up with old junk lying around, a few beers, some 1' tubing and a welder or 2.

I am not upset at all by Glenn's post, I was sure somebody would ask it.

Why trash a good trike with a couch?

#1 The trike is pretty much trashed already, looks good but there are lots of mechanical issues and the frame is nowhere near straight. Part of the rear frame was actually broken right off.

#2 We have the ability to put the trike back to stock someday if ever desired. Although 1" tubing was welded to the original trike frame and footpegs, to support the added weight of the couch and passengers, the couch could be removed and welds grounded down. The rear part of the frame where most of the welds are would have to be replaced in a full restoration anyway.

Some people also ask why chop up a stock steel bodied car to make a hot rod? It all goes back to what each individual is into. I happen to be into having fun and dreaming up wild ideas. That's where the tri-couch idea came from. A few guys sitting around drinking some beers wondering how we could beat the Lazy-Boy on skis we built 2 yrs ago. I just happen to have the means needed to finish the idea (Special thanks to Team Evolution ATV for being right there in the drinking beer process as well as fabrication).

Cody,
You can definitely take it for a ride sometime in WI next season when we see you again. I am assuming you'll race with us in WI whenever you can, and none of that " I can't stay and party, I got to go back to MN" bs this year either. Maybe we'll even make you an honorary cheesehead.

Yeah the guys were really flying in that picture, 5th gear tapped. Actually that was the first ride with 3 people on it as you can see we were barely over idle. You can bet we will throw the brain buckets on before attempting to hit the freestyle ramp with it.
