I am going to purchase a set of +1 forward +2 extend arms for my EX. I run mostly woods and a few harescrambles. I was wondering if anyone is running the extended arms in tight woods, what there handleing is like and preffered camber setup. Also will the stock length axle be suffecent or should I go with a +2 to compesate. Thanks.

I think you are making a mistake by going so wide. My quad is 2" more narrow than stock and sometimes it is still tight. If you use this set up you better run 4-1 offset up front. Good luck with it.

+1 is all thats needed, stabilizes the 400ex for some mx and does great in the woods. id ditch the +1 forward, its not needed on the 400ex

You should be ok with that width just run 4-1 offset rims like someone mentioned above... I ran +2's in the woods and it was fine before I got my +3's. Now I have to stick to the fire roads and out of the tight stuff if I trail ride...

Thanks guys. The reason I am going to these arms is I picked them up for a sweet price. I figure if they dont work out I can get my money out of them at least. I will keep my laeger sock lengths just incase. With the +2's on is 3 degrees of camber ok? I was running 3 with my stock lengths. Also these have caster adjustments on them, I check LSR site and was wonder what some of you are running. Thanks.

You will have to get your shocks revalved to make it all work right.

the trails around oklahoma are mostly set up for dirtbikes so the stock set-up on my 400 is still too big. i dont ride the trails alot so i dont complain but if i was serious about it, i couldnt go wider if i wanted too. if the price is right, get them, if you dont like them, you can always go back to the stock ones.

I ride just about everything ( some MX, trails, screwing around with friends) and I found some Burgards in either +2s or +3s for the same price, which should i go with. I think +2s would be good but i figure if im gonna do it I should do it good. what do ya say
