wrecks on the ways home tonight

i was out at wally-world this afternoon. and while i was there it started snowing. at most we got a half an inch. it started as rain, then turned to snow. it's about 5 degrees here right now. so anyway, on my way home i decide to follow a township truck spreading cinders up a steep hill. ( it's a shortcut) so i'm following the truck up the hill in 4x4, and his arse end starts sliding. so he stops, and the truck starts sliding down the hill. so i quick back the truck down the hill to avoid getting hit by the guy. he ended up in the gaurdrail, which stopped him from rolling the truck down a ravine. so i'm going home another way, and there is a pickup in the woods. so i stop, here the guy downshifted around a turn and lost it. ended up in the gaurdrail right before a pond. the roads are iced over. did about 20 in a 55 all the way home. all this over bout a half inch of snow.


i'm hoping for a school delay or closing in the morning:devil: :D

The road were pritty bad here too. My mom's mini van couldn't make it up this one hill and I had to trun around.

I have school untill wed. and I migh be going into my vocational school thursday if they are open and I don't finish my frame wed.

Lol you went to the Walmart in Honesdale? We have a house in Lakveville that we go to once and a while.

We dont get out of school untill Thursday, it's a half day :)

LMAO .... man I love reading some of these posts . 1/2 inch of snow and people can't drive?? Makes me shake my head at this kinda stuff . Sorry to say it ... but I don't think many of you southern folks would survive it up in my area . I took my driving test in a snow storm using a crappy sunfire with summer tires . I've driven down highways with over a foot or more of snow plowing over the hood of our truck ... can't see the center line of the road ... just keep it between the snowbanks .... 4 hour drive from Toronto to my place took us 11 hours but we made it .

i know what you mean. i was fine in my truck on the snow, BFG all terrain tires go good in the snow.
