Foot pegs??

Well i wasn't sure exactly where to ask this, so i figured this would just have to do.

My foot pegs dont seem to have much grip on them. Even with my really good shape alpinestars, i still slip a lot. Is there anyway i can file the teeth a little bit to get more grip? Or do i just get new ones. I dont want to pay 200 bucks for brand new ones, so i was looking at ebay on brand new stock ones. Would that be better? Thanks

The pros use a dremel with whatever tip fits to sharpen their pegs

OK thanks, you guys never cease to save me money! Ill try the file, and if it doesnt work fast enough for me, ill get out the dremel.

Get Derisi's foot peg extenders. I got them and I love them. They are a little expensive though, not too bad but their like $40. Or Nac's sells them for $15, but they just extend out, they dont extend the length of the whole peg.

You could get another stock pair off of e-bay and do a little fabbing and weld them to your stock pegs that you have on your bike already. Sort of a home made pro-peg for much cheaper. Than use a file or dremal to sharpen them:cool:
