400EX swingarm in a 300EX

it can be done but it's not easy. You have to weld a mount for the linkage on the frame. The shock is another problem. The stock 400 shock will not fit. unless you notch you frame to clear the rezzie. If you can get a aftermarket shock with remote rezzies it would cure that problem. If you don't have a aftermarket shock and you have to run a stock 300ex shock well you will have to weld a mount on the linkage to mount you shock cause your stock shock will not mount on the linkage. I have a buddy that did this swap so it can be done but it's not easy.

You would be better off using a swingarm and shock from a 350X three wheeler. Or if you want the best, get an aftermarket swingarm and Elka shock.
