i put one in my s-10 (4.3 vortec) and i didnt really notice much of a differnce at first, i thought what the hay i'll leave it in anyway. got used to it after a few months and un programmed it (is that a word?lol) to run a dealer diagnostics test on it and man what a differnce. with the stock settings i had way less throttle response coming from a stop, it shifting alot lower in the rpms and the motor worked alot harder to pull the same load(alwys shifting where it usually held the same gear more consistently with the programmer installed) i like mine, i would recomend them!

Thanks for the reply. I see they are $350 at a local parts store. I guess that ain't too bad, for the performance gains you get.

Programers and chips do alot more for diesels as far as power goes than it does on gassers.
