Paintball Gun Help

hey....im going to get a paintball gun soon....most likely a tippman(sp) 98 custom or however it goes....anyways..i want to get a full kit...like a co2 tank and hopper....does anyone reccomend somewhere to get a whole kit...also....is there anything else i would need...thanks:D

you need CO2, face mask,hopper, and an elbow (connects the hopper to the gun there like 3 dollars) and i think thats about it.

The 98 custom can be bought in a players pack.It comes with everything u need 2 play except paint and air.Most shops will fill your first tank for free if you buy it there.Try 1-888-paintball for a free catalog!!! They have awesome deals.

Great choice. I have a 98 custom, very easy to modify. Nice gun. The place they are made is 10 minutes from my house. If anything happens to the gun, you just send it in and they will fix it for free. Thats why i got mine off ebay, if anything is wrong with it, its free to fix. Plus you can get everything you need with it off ebay, with some extras too.

I have had no problems with my gun, and tippmanns service is second to none. If you go to tippmann.com then to players section. Go to their forums if you have any other questions.

ok a tipp. 98 would be good for that. that waht kinda gun i started w/ now i got a sypder invision that is decked out electronice trigger finger and everthing but my bro and i play speed ball so u need a gun that has that to play theres a kid that has a 98 custom that play speed ball and he gets killed

I have seen some speedball A-5's and a few speedball 98's. The bad thing about the 98 custom is that the electronic bolt costs 200 bucks, and is really big and bulky. Unlike the e-grip of the A-5 which only costs 100 bucks and fits inside the gun. So tippmanns are not the best choice for speedball but they can be modded for it.

One of Mr. Tippmanns 12 kids went to my school last year and she was in this group thing we have. Come to think of it, she was pretty hot. But thats beside the point. The 98 custom is a great gun. Very reliable. Designed for the woods.

I play with about a group of 15 guys. Every guy in the group has an A-5 or a 98custom.
