swinger length

what size swinger for 400ex with stroker motor?? mostly trail and dunes but i dont want to go too long. max of +3. what do you guys and gurls think would be best?

**EDIT**: also what brand to go with, no big jumping on it either.

1 1/4 should be good for you. Yuor bike will handle well in almost all situations but will keep the front from coming up so fast.

My laeger was made in late 98 and is still going strong.

I went to a 1 1/4 inch swing arm and only had to change the spring on my elka shock. They can send you a spring and it's easy to change out.

Most swingarms are in the 550-650 range. Ive never counted my links I just buy a long one and cut it to fit.
