I have an 1986 Honda TRX250R and I am thinking about getting new plastic but I am not sure which looks better, Shiny Maier or Fullbore? Could someone send me a picture or a link, Thanks,

here is the like for full bore: http://www.fullboreinnovations.com/fb_products.htm I personally like the way full bore looks a little more, but it will cost ya. The fenders sell for $500 for front and back. I don't know if its worth it for that money. The new maier shiny plastic deffinatly looks sharp too and should be quite a bit less.

Which is more durable, Fullbore, Maier, or OEM?

Fullbore is nice, but I don't think that it is that much nicer for the price. I have a picture of the shiny maier here it is

ya know I am wondering the same thing. I think I am just gonna go with fullbore. I have seen both in person and the fullbore is more durable. I thas better mounts and is thicker. Does your esr pipe and silencer burn your plastics?

My ESR pipe only burns a small area on my plastic, back near the right rear fender. Where the pipe and silencer connect, my plastic is resting of that area. Its not noticable when you are riding.

Damn
My friend said it does not burn a hole. I need to find a pipe that does not burn a hole at ALL. 500 is a lot for plastics when you are gonna get a big hole in them.

If you want plastics that will sag and look like crap after a month buy maier........ If you want plastics that will last longer than stock not sag at all and has a better finish than the "shiny" maier.get the fullbores...... You get what you pay for......

fullbore is deffintly nicer..... but not everyone wants to spend that much on plastic.... thats why i'll get maier

I agree with TRX350XX. You can get 3 sets of Maier plastic for less than the price of 1 set of Fullbore.

it depends on how much you want to spend, if you care, then go with fullbore. if you dont want to spend alot, then go with maier:D

I don't see where everyone says Fullbore mounts better. I have had both types and they basically have the same cheesy mounts. I really like my Fullbore though, just be prepared to make your own mounts. You can see my Fullbore here........http://photos.yahoo.com/sup250r
