yeah it doesnt matter how the cable is adjusted, there is no tension on the lifter arm,the little mushroom thing looks fine, but is it supposed to move freely or is it supposed to have tension too? it moves freely

ok i was messing around with the adjustments and when u pull the lifter arm in until it stops (about a 90 degree angle from the case) and have the lever adjusted to where when it is all the way out where the arm is as far as i can push it in, with the help of the lever i can pull the lifter arm in even more and it makes a little noise inside the case but im not sure what its doing. the only thing is when i do this it doesnt feel like it used to and is harder to pull.. esp hard because i just installed the new RTC clutch lever and perch so it should be easier than before. will putting oil back in the quad fix this problem? sorry for the write up but i tried to explain the best i could. thanks
