rear end play please help

When I jack up the rear end of my 400ex and step on the rear brake the rear wheels will still turn back and forth about half an inch. Both rear axles and wheels are turning. Is this normal? Could my bearings need replacement? Thank you for your help.

This sounds normal to me. Your caliper bracket normaly has a little play.

your just fine.. it does that so you dont lock you brakes up soo easy

You can take out the little piece that keeps the brake stay from moving, and grind the round edges flat to fit your brake stay.
