I rode a yz250f yesterday and that thing is pretty bad(ive only ridden a few dirtbikes) I still dont like it better than a 400ex but its goes pretty good. Anyways I never knew they had a compresion relese what is that for? Can they use it for a jake brake like on a semi? wont it stall? and could you put a compresion relese on a 400ex?

on a fourstroke dirt bike when the engin gets hot and the compression gets higher so its hard to kickstart all the release does is realse some of the compression so it is easy to kick start

you would not need it on a 400ex cause it is eletric start
