Has anybody on here know of anybody that is making a better bottom steering stem bushing for the Z. I go through about 1 a month and they are a pain in the arse to change. If anybody knows of anything pm me and let me know.

GOOD LUCK, if you find one let me know. I've had to replace mine twice, and your right, they are a pain to change.

I figured out the cause of bushings wearing out.

There is a rubber o-ring that needs to used on the top of the bushing and bottom to seal out any sand, dirt and other crap that grings away at the plastic that gets in between the stem sleeve and bushing.

I did this with mine and have not had to replace one since.

There's going to be a lot of slop in the stering from left to right. The reason is, your hole stering stem is moving left to right, not just your handle bars. Check your stem often, and if you feel a little play in it, thats your bushing going bad.

Here is the ebay item # 150057587930. They are a little higher than expected because of the design fee and the price of brass right now.

Just an FYI, be sure to check the end of the shaft for wear also. A new bushing won't do much to eliminate the slop if the shaft is worn out.
