I'm from northern Indiana. Speaking of all these people living near chicago, my brother is in college up there. Its a sweet place. He goes to moody bible institute. His soccer field is pretty sweet, the L runs right next to it over the stands.

cool, i am suprised at all of the replies... we really should get together next summer and have a ride of some sort...

i live near Fond du lac, Wis .. though there are not to many tracks around here, we have a few up about an hour north...(Derecuse) so we could all go up there or somewhere else around... and to the person who asked if i ride the lake... i haven't been able to ride any lakes this year yet, but i hope to get out soon.. waiting for some parts from Pappy, so once i get the quad back together, i will be all set to hit the ice... ~Jason '

Is there a difference between MX or XC? is that what you're asking

xsr_racing28c

MX is on a closed motocross style track, and XC is a cross country/ all terrain type racing..(endurance).. just a quick def of the two

ya i know that but, haah, i was asking him if thats really what he was asking. They are completely different. I race both and love xc a lot more. Mx u wait around all day for your 2 motos and only get about 5 minutes of track time per moto and in xc, u get to ride 1 or 2 hours on some amazing courses through rivers, hills, rocks, tight woods. Ive personally just fell in love with xc and mx seems to be to much waiting for me. Also most xc tracks include mx tracks on them.

I actully knew the diff between the two, I have been racing Xc for the last year and 1/2. Im actully thinking of running a few District 18 MX races in 05. I finished the 2004 season 2nd in points in HareScrambles District17 quad B.

sorry , for some reason i thought that someone was asking what the difference between the two were...lol...

Yea we should get together and ride, i prefer mx over xc... i have only been hardcore into quads for about 8 months, and before i was into sno-cross, so i am still learning on the quad and all, but aint afraid to throw it down every now and then... just a fun ridin day would be cool though

King City is good for a few hours of riding, but thats about it. IF u like to practice the MX its ok, but the trails are just HUGE mudholes.

Im gona tear my quad apart this week, and just go threw and fix some stuff, and ill get ahold of u to go ride somtime in JAn if u want, I should be going, and so should my other buddies 450r, We will need the practice before GNCC's start back up in Feb!
