learn from my mistakes

Arg im soo pissed off right now. This is a wicked awesome site and all the people are awesome, or at least thats what i thought. I bought a pipe and silencer off somebody on this site and they said it was in good condision and ran good, so being a trusting, i bought it off this fellow exrider. well i got the pipe today. its got an effing inch and a half crack on the silencer right at the neck where the exhaust comes out of the engine. They better give me refund. This is more of a vent thread but come on, id never expect anyone to do this, expecially in the holiday. just dont be a fool like me and buy something without pics

feedback forum is in the For Sale section at the bottom.. if they are not already in there, put a thread up and let everyone know not to deal with this person... but contact the seller first to make sure that it isn't a screwup..

well they can ban him and he wont be able to come back to this web site.

could they make him give me a refund? i think the guy i bought it from made new accounts to give himself feedback to make people wanna buy it. i wanna see if the mods can see if these 3 accounts have the same ipt address or whatever its called

i don't think they could make him give you a refund. unelss one of them lives close to him and gives him a good arse kickin! but yea PM one of the mods and ask to check the IPs on those user names. hope you get your money back. or another pipe.

well i just went out and looked at the head pipe agian and i know this guy purposly sold it to me knowing it wouldnt work. you know how it connects to the engine in 2 different places, well the bottom one must have broken off completely because he tried to weld it and its one of the worst welding jobs ive ever seen and it looks like he wasnt trying to make it work, just to make it one piece. whats wrong with the world today? ill post the guys name after i talk to a mod.

maybe you could send me the pipe and ill do my best to have it repaired for you.

i dont know who the member is yet, but it sounds like you were sold a defective used part or the seller didnt inform you of the repairs and damage....and that sucks. ill let guy400 handle tracking down the fella if you will pm me or him the members name....and we will do all we can for you.

in the future, dont be afraid to pm a mod to ask about a member you may purchase something from. we try to answer to the best of our ability and if we feel there is a real intent to defraud we will bend over backwards to help you get right. we cant help with the money but i know if i can help you get it repaired i surely will

The seller agreed to a refund since he sold it for a friend and never even saw it. thanks for everyones support and help
