Went to look at a truck tonight .. ended up buying it .. a 92 dodge dakota 2wd auto .. nothing special.. Good enough to get the quad around.
My first vehicle .. paying for it myself .. I'm pretty proud of that.
Is there anything I should look out for on these trucks?

give him a break, im a ford guy too but i like dakota's

nothin i know about breakin down, my friends got an 87 with a 5-speed and its kinda slow, and he says that about it all the time, but man, it is in great shape, i want to put a 360 in it, or a ford 289 in it and that would rip, he has some problems with it, but minor, and its older

sounds like a good truck man, awsome job payin for it yourself too, feels great.:)

Haha yeah exactly .. its hard to find people my age who work 50+ hours a week, and pay for their own things.

i would work 50+ hours a week but its kinda illegal....cuz im a minor

i only get like 20-25 a week @ $6.75/hr. ...and im savin up to pay for my own truck, my parents cant afford to get me one. and when i get my truck im just gonna laugh at all the pathetic rich spoiled kids who have never earned or spent any of their own money
