Santa clause is going to be bringing me a 330 piston/ sleeve from FST. I am also getting a stage 2 webcam, HD springs, HD rockers, and a HD timing chain. The total cost is about $700 and I think it is gonna cost $190 for Hetrick racing to install the sleeve, ect... I cant wait!!!!

Make sure you get new hard faced rocker arms.Have seen many people wipe out their new cams because they wore thru the old half wore out hard face on their old rockers. The kit is fast.Had a friend that put out 37HP to the rear tires on the dyno with that kit.Good luck.

Aye, it's a great kit if you get the full job. I get about 32hp +/- on the dyno. I sacrificed some HP, for more low end torque. I'm very happy with my setup. I'm not a dragracer anyway. Who would dragrace a 300ex anyway.. lol. I'll leave that job to the Banshees, R's, Raptors, and 450's.

For it to be a complete kit do i haft to get the stroker or can i get the big bore with a new cam and springs and the other little stuff and still make 27+hp?

Headwork and compression are the most important.I had a TC Racing engine 318cc put out 36HP to rear wheels, but it had big valves and tons of compression.

I want to have a trial ridable bike that runs on pump gas but still puts out 27+hp. With out the stroker will this kit 330 kit with the cam and valves and the rest of the stuff on there site do this?

i would go with +1 intake valves with a somewhat mild cam with 11:1 compression should be good on pump gas, anymore compression and i think you may have to run 50/50. i'd also recommend stiffer clutch springs while your doing this. I think your also going to need some port work done if you are trying to acheive 27hp. Also make sure you get hardend rockers. I'd say to do a nice setup it will cost around 1000-1200. this is with labor carb, port work, 330 kit, and pretty much all the goodies yes you can do it for much less but i would recommend saving up a lil bit and get this done all at once, at least get the port work the 300ex and the 250x engines have a very small head to begin with any gains in the flow would help the engines out.

Agreed,If you scrimp now it will cost you more later. All the parts in a kit complement each other to achieve these HP ratings. To run pump gas and make high HP means bigger CC's.Save your money now and when you get it get the stroker, head work, bigger carb, and a pipe that will complement the CC increase. Then you will have A big CC low compression kit that can run pump gas and still give you the HP and more important for your type of riding torqueyou want.
