Trick Airbox Lid

Hey people take a look at his new lid cover that this person is selling on e-bay. Looks like 4punksdad lid with some aluminum on it. $45.00. Hey 4punksdad is he paying you royalties?

I did the same thing to mine without the aluminum. That's not a bad idea though. Makes it look sharp.

How did yo secure the outerwears to the lid from the outside?

That thing is nothing to make. I wouldn't pay the 40+ for it but it is a good idea.

You could make one yourself for alot cheaper, could you use bolts and nuts to secure the aluminum??

How much does the filter cost? $25, maybe?
The aluminum is cheap, about a1.50
and the fastners, if there stainless, are about a buck if he is buing bulk.
His labor is worth something, say, half an hour on each one at $30 an hour.
His total cost is around 37.50 maybe?
If he makes 7 to ten bucks on each one I would be impressed. He should have patented it and sold the pat to outerwears, he would have made more $$$

Ya those people who make the aluminum air boxes should have an option of a vented lid or just a regular lid to go with there air boxes, it would probably cost more, but it would be nice to have the lid when u want/need it. What do you guys think?
