well guys i need to buy 2 things for my new silverado...


#1 is a cover for the bed... i want it to fold out of the way easily so i can still put my 400 in the back... but we need a cover for when we put all the guns and stuff in the back to go shooting... plus its just nice to have... whats a good one to get that isn't gonna cost me a arm and a leg...

#2 is being that my mom is only 5'2 or so she can barly get in the thing... we need to get running boards or nerf bars... which are good and what are bad???

I had one of those that rolled back into a plastic thing that stayed in the bed. It was metal covered in vinyal so it looked like most of the rest. Plus you could lock it and the tailgate so noone could steal anything.

But the are around $800

Dont get the rhino, get LINE-X. Its tougher and won't fade like rhiino. I have it on my truck and love it

my toyota has a rhino that was put in it in 1995... its perfectly fine... i'll def be gettin a rhino!!!!

for the cover, my friend has one he got put on somewhere, it is vynil and rolls up to the front of the bed, loosing no space at all and then you just roll it back and it gets velcroed to the rail that comes with it, it is nice, its what i would get.

i have brushed aluminum bars on my gmc canyon, they came with the truck so i dont know which brand they are, but they are awesome :macho

This one is an awesome cover. Velcro on the sides and aluminum rails for support in the middle. It rolls up really easy and latches down even in near zero temps. Worth the price.;)

Good easy to manage cheap cover! Get an Extang. Should be about 250 for your truck. As for boards or nerfs???? That is personal prefrence. The nerfs look a lot better (I think) but the boards protect the paint behind the front tires a lot better! Looks or protection, Its up to you! Boards, the lighted Delta III's are pretty sweep but they are built of heavy gauge aluminum and they are costly. But, do not buy a cheap set, because that is what you will get!

for the cover we are lookin at a company called tuxedo... it looks like its a nice cover... the cover won't be for a month or 2... i gotta get teh bed sprayed 1st...
