TRX250R body question

Does anyone here know what is needed(besides the nose plastic)or has changed the headlight on a 86 trx250r to the style on the 88-89 trx250r?
Please help Iam trying to dress up my husband bike and he is so excited about his 250r.

I have an OEM 88 headlight hood (red) in excellent shape if you need one. let me know. thanks

if you are going to get OEM honda plastics it will cost you $$$. You can also get Maier, Laker Customs and Fullbore plastics. The only thing about the aftermarket plastics you have to take your time when mounting them. As for head lights go to trailtech.net and get the HID light kit for the handlebars and he will be drooling. Your a hell of a woman to be interested in your husband's hobby.

You would need the headlight assembly, rubber grommets, collars and adjusting screw and hardware. The 86 headlight assembly will not work in the 88-89 hood.

IMHO, i like the 86 hood style with 88 plastics just get him some billit handlebar clamp lights

There isnt much difference in the fenders between the 86-87 & the 88-89 models.

The hood, light, and all the hardware needed can be found at www.servicehonda.com.

It isnt too expensive, and it last alot longer than that Maier plastic, plus the color will match better etc.

You can even order all of the 88 factory decals if needed..

Thanks to everyone and there thoughts. Unfortunatly its not my husbands hobby...its mine and I told him he needed to get a bike. I have had bike off and on over the years my first bike was a new honda blue 110 3-wheeler for like my 11th b-day. Anyways I just got a 4-stroke for all around purpose but I gladly talked my husband in to a nice 2 stroke(86 trx 250r w/some goodies).I just wanted to dress it up a bit. The new headlights are nice but I like the way the 88-89 headlight in the hood looks like instead of the 86. I know about Laker Plastics and Maier and I will probrably go with one of them I just like OEM headlight for 88-89.

I HAVE A SET OF 88 PLASTIC RED IN COLOR WITH HEADLIGHT,FRONT FENDERS ARE CUT NICELY DONE
THESE FENDERS ARE LIKE NEW I WOULD LIKE 650.00 I HAVE PICS AVAILABLE.
