What is the difference between 4 ply and 6 ply. Will the 4 ply be ok for light trail riding?

I would go ahead and get the 6ply. Not much more money for a better tire.

4 plys will be fine for light trail riding. I don't know about these guys, but all the 6 ply tires I see are $10-20 more per tire for a jump from 4ply to 6ply. For four tires that can be up to $80 difference.:eek2: I agree the 6plys are nice, but I'm rocking the 4ply fronts till I see the need to do otherwise.

I got the 6 plys, they weren't that heavy. The stockers i think were heavier (but the 300 stockers are like balloons too). I'd go ahead and go with 6 ply, you won't be dissapointed!
