Stock Rod.....12.1 416 ????

I have a friend who is contemplating this setup......his bike is a 2004 and he thinks it will be ok with the 12.1 JE and a stock rod.

I have told him that he needs to go with the 10.8.1 JE like my setup if he is going to keep the stock rod.

Any thoughts on the 12.1 and the stock rod would be greatly appreciated

who is to say it won't work............... then again who is to say it will work......... its just a matter of chance it may hold up then again it may not i've know people to run 13 on a stock rod with no problem and others to blow it up, a aftmarket would be good security
