its still smokin what to do??? please help

my 400ex was burning a lot of oil so i relpaced the rings. put it all back together and its still smokes.
what else can it be??
Valve seals??
and my 400ex also has hardly no low end power.
i bought the 400 with a FMF power core 4 pipe and the owner said it was jetted.
what is the reason for no low end power is it jetting.
please help me

have someone test the compression, even if you replaced the rings and the cylinder is worn it may still burn oil, i once bought a polaris (big mistake) that had new rings, but the guy put new rings on a piston that was .040" smaller than the bore, it ran like $hit and smoked alot and had no power, your dealer or any good shop will be able to help you get it checked

hey guy when you went in and replaced the rings did you make sure the rings gaps were spaced out right if they arent then they will let oil sep through and burn it. um other than that it might be a head gasket. check both and make sure to test the jettign and compression

i took it in to a dealer and they measured and gave me the rings i needed
how do i check jetting

If your rich the it will cut out when you give full throttle. If your lean your sparl plug will go black or dark.

no that aint right it is your jettin tho decrease your size ...... rich is if the plug is black i dont know what color lean is but i know black is rich and just right is a chocolate color
