"e" Series

I just bought White Brothers E series with quiet core insert, K/N air filter with outwears.
I know that they suggest main jet 155.
I would like to know if someone as already bought the quiet core? I think that i would have to go lower in jet size?

As soon as the pipe will arrive i will take the number of DB. I will compare the sound of stock pipe, White Brother, and White Brother with quiet core insert.
Does anywone know how to take it, i think that its at an angle of 45 deg. 3 feet back. (is that right?)

cool, i was wanting to know how a wb with the quiet core sounded bcause i like the power of it but it is too loud. i might go down that route

i was either thinkin that or the powercore Q for my 400. u should get that thing on a dyno and see the diff with the quiet core.

I just receive my pipe today and i was wondering if there pipe are all like that...
On the inside they have a wave on the pipe like something hit the pipe

Yes they all look like that it is to clear the caliper if the rear is compressed.

From what i've read, thats how all of them come. Alot of people here have said something about a dent in their new pipe. I would guess that's it.

I bought my e-series about 6 months back and I was pissed when I saw that dent. There was a couple threads that said it was normal.

my e-series has the same dent it is for the shock on a certian quad (prevents rubbing)

Mine had it and I thought it was a defect...took it back to the dealer, they ordered me a new one...only to find the same dent on the new one...so I think its totally normal.

I have a bills pipe with the race core and a quit core.
I have not gotten ahold of a db meter yet but I plan to test both to see what I can get away with at silve lake:devil
the web site I read said they test 20 inches from the pipe and at a 45 degree angle but I do not know if the tester is held at a 45 or it is held 45 dgrees from the pipe exit :confused:
they test at half the bikes maximum rpm
and the limit is 94 db at michigan state lands and parks

Dont have a clue on either.. haven't DB'd them... but I do have a db meter so I will here in the next week and give you guys a report on both.

By the way i just bought a dremel to buff the weld inside the pipe.
Just call White brother and ask them for the quiet core that are b/o. They told me that they will have some by the 8 of may.
So in about 3 week you should have the sound output.
