fcr stiffness

I have a quad with a yzf400 motor and the throttle was converted to thumb and after 2 laps around the track, my thumb actually swells up from the stiffnesss. Is there any mods I can do without going to a twist throttle?

What kind of housing is it? The honda's usually work the best. Get a new cable and clean up the trottle linkage on the side of the carb.

yea it has a yamaha housing so Ill try a 400ex one. Ar ethere any secrects or mods to the carb?

You could alos take off the top piece and make sure all the wheels slide like they should.
