this weekend was opening weekend at the sand drag's, i ran a 6.58 on my first and only run, before we got rained out. anybody else running this length and have their time's. or anyone have any suggestions on a cheap way to get some power and not void the warrenty on a stock 400ex. P.S. very low on cash right now, i just bough a streetbike.

You could stuff your street bike engine in their. Do some jimmy-rigging and it might work. J/k

I was there at Bonne Terre but was not planning to race for the 465EX is not finished but should be ready by the 27th. On playday I ran a 5.64 on the Polaris. Unless you are planning to do serious mods I would leave it alone for 6.5 is the cut off before you go into the slower ATV1 class. Dial in a 6.49 and you will be leaving the line first in most cases. A dial in of 6.49 is perfect for ProATV. If you have a good reaction time you will be hard to run down. Last year a stock 400EX took ProATV championship. What is your number. Mine is 84X look me up and I can help you out if needed.

My number is 90, and i dialed in at a 6.48 last sat. my reaction time was pretty good, not bad for my first run on it anyway.like a .710 or .071 something

.40 is a perfect reaction time. If you do a .399999 you will red light. There will be probably as many as there was on the 20th. My Polaris had a bad primary clutch but is now fixed. I hoping to see a 5.4 or better. I have no idea what the 465EX will do but am figuring in the middle 5's.

u guys think that a 14 tooth sprocket up front would help my time out in a short race, or a taller front to wind out 1st and second gear more.

try the 14t on front. it will give you a better time. Just be sure to practice a few times and make sure you get the shifting down.
