I have a 98 300EX and I am goin to be racing XC in the iowa series. What is the best tire combination for XC racing? Should i get 20in or 22in rears? And would 23s upfront be good?

Thanks

Greg

Holeshot XCR, XCT, HD
Maxxis Razr 2
Kenda Klaws/Knarly

They are all great tires and all used by Pro GNCC racers. Personally I prefer the Holeshots. I have used the XCT and XCR holeshots and they are both great.

get 20 inch rears and 22 nch fronts. if you have some xtra money, buy a set of cheap rear wheels and put the stock 22 inch tires on if you still have them. they do great in a muddy race

I have 20" Knarly's and they are awesome for trails/xc racing. It really improves the acceleration over the stock 22's. Bradley is right it's still nice to keep a set of 22's for muddy/rutted situations
