Is it okay to get the carb and add a pipe to a brand new quad during break-in?

Im getting a brand new 400ex this week hopefully and is it okay to add a white brothers e series pipe and jet the carbs brand new? Or should i break the bike in first with the stock stuff first?

Break it in first, then get used to how it feels in stock condition so you will be able to tell if your mods are working the way they should.
