yfz will put a 450r in its place, i mean its got the stock race suspension setup..thats titties...and its faster anyways but if your loyal to honda like me, get a 450r if you want the speed and pep, get a nice done up 250r with a bore kit and what not....personally, i hate 2 strokes so youd never catch me on one...

if your a smaller guy, id go with the yamihami, but if your taller like me (6'5") get the honda. the yamaha is just entirely too small.. that is the way i guess they decided to save weight:rolleyes:

450r i guess, maybe one of the new preds if your a taller guy. (those things are like a mix between a YFZ and a raptor, besides the weight)

Used, why not get a 400, new I'd get a yfz:confused:
Yfz is designed as a race quad. The 450R is a sport quad. For strictly racing its a no brainer.........YFZ 450.

lol yeah I'll tell you what I had to step down from the 300 and go with a 450r cause the power of those 300's was just to mean:D j/k any way I own a honda 450 r and have had no probs with it except the rider hitting things every now and then lol. I would go with the 450r but I am a honda fan. I was thinkn about runnin a flat track or a tt next year just to try it out if I ran in a lower class such as C class would I be competetive at all with stock tires and stock suspention? is there many peeps that run stock stuff in C class?

a 450r. 450r's motor would tear up tt. Nice powerband and just an all around good quad.
As for a yfz being a strickly racer and 450r being a 'sport' quad. thats a very... stupid comment. Personally i will most likely be getting a yfz next year but a yfz is not more competative. In stock form it might be for mx but when you mod both quads like you have to for tt it is neck and neck and it comes down to comfort on quad. Who tt's a stock quad anyway?

The YFZ might be a little better suited for mx racing(stock), but any other type of racing is highly debatable. For instance, I wouldn't want to race a stock YFZ in a baja race.
