Grass drags on speed yestarday made me get out the sled too, sorry nobody was outside to get pics of that.

are the lakes froze up in ur area yet 86?were going to st germain to ride sleds after christmas and i heard the lakes there werent froze up yet....any different farther north?

The lakes aren'' frozen yet, here or up north. But there is good snow in the up. There's a decent base coat with 6 inches on top in most area's. I'll be up in grand marias snowmobiling on the 31's with a bunch of others.

We need some more temps near zero before they'll freez over.

They start grooming once the trails open on Dec. 1st if there is good enough snow. Some areas they won't groom at all until the 15th after muzzle loading season is over I think, once there is good snow. I know they were grooming in the UP there a week or two ago in some areas.

if anyone is coming up to the u.p. the trails are open..i think.. i mite not be good yet and i dont think there is enough to groom..just yet. i went for a short ride down to our 40 of land 2.5 miles from my camp on the sled this weekend, got her up to 90 but the road was to bumpy to push it to the real speeds

it hits 115 in almost nothing, when the powerband hits at around 5500 its pretty crazy machine, you dont want to go much faster, the front end feels pretty damn light by then!!
