I just finished my motor with a 416 10.8:1 compression. What kind of spark plug should I use??

That is one of two plugs that is recomended in the honda specs. A cooler running plug.
I"ve read that the plug Dusty posted is for long hard WOT rides like desert racing or dune riding.
I think i might try the plug out in my next XC race to see if there are any differences.

i have ran the 9z ever since i put a piston in my bike. the bike may be a bit more cold natured on start ups but i don't have any complaints with it.

lower number is hotter plug

you are correct the 9 is a colder plug which is recommend for a high compression piston.
