well if they banned diesel the united states would collapse. My neighbor is an e-Ton dealer, he asked them what they are going to do, all their bikes are two stroke. They said nothing, it doesnt matter for "closed circuit" bikes.

i hear once 2 stroke production is banned then yamaha is gona take thier blaster chassis and setup and pop a 4-stroke 250 motor in it.

I could care less about the 2 stroke ban. I only ride quads, and the 2 most popular machines that are being banned are the blaster and bannshee. The blasters suck *** I say get rid of them, and banshee's you can find a used one so easily. And I am building a 250r, so don't say I'm against 2 strokes. Everyone is turning to 4 strokes now. The only place the 2 stoke ban is gonna hurt is snowmobiels. And that does suck, but people can still ride and race thier 2 strokes, I think everyone is blowing the 2 stoke ban out of perportion.

from the way i understand it, the dealers just wont be able to sell the 2 strokes after the ban.... im sure they will be able to sell what they have in stock though :confused:

Why dont they just take some time and money, and put a smaller/less bulky motor in the Raptor350. They motor they are using is OLD-SCHOOL!

How do u all think a blaster would do with a 4-stroke motor in it?

Well, they know how to put a turbo in a 4-stroke snowmobile so that's not that big of a problem for 4-stroke. Now dirtbikes I am questioning for their future in the small bikes to actually make power.
