im trying to get this case off, i took off all the bolts and tapped it lightly with a flathead screwdriver and hammer but no results, i guess its kinda glued on there with the gasket. any tips on gettin it off? thanks!

Double check for bolts again. Then use a rubber mallet and possible a bar or rod you can jam between the cases where there isn't a gasketed surface. That's what I had to do on my 300 because the mallet wasn't cutting it.

I woudl advise against prying anything in between the cases. there are however pry points on the case. find them and pry there if it doesnt separate then your missing a bolt that keeps the cases together

btw what case are you trying to take off? clutch, stator, or center cases

the little clutch lifter arm spring thats right inside the case, where are these pry points?

have you tried moving the clutch pivot arm back and forth to see if it will help pop it off, sometimes if the arm is in the wrong position it will catch the clutch lifter and hold the cover on.

i moved it counter clockwise all the way like the manual said.. ill try that, i tried the pry points and was putting a lot of pressure on it but it didnt pop off still. im positive that all the bolts are out, i dont think its ever been opened before and its 4 yrs old

how many bolts have you removed all together? i think there is 13 holding the cover on.
all i know to tell you is take a block of wood and put it up against the cover and try to knock it loose , i have had covers stick on me sometimes too from the gaskets being on there so long and it took some time of knocking on the thing with a block of wood and hammer or a rubber mallet and prying on it for a while to finally bust the gasket loose.
