Rebuilding clutch ?

Ok i am rebuilding my clutch on my lt 250 and was wondering if i had to replace the clutch plates or if i could get away with doing just the friction plates? I ask becasue i can buy the friction plates alot cheaper if i dont get the clutch plates and money is running a little low now can i get away with not replacing them?

you could if the plates are not worn past their specs.
its best to replace it all as a set though.

I would reccomend replacing everything with a kit...
