Well just got back from the dealer today. I was really looking at getting a raptor, but then out the corner of my eye I saw they had a 04 450r for $5799. After tax and freight it would be $6300. So I'm all excited, I'm thinking that I'm getting a 450r for the same price as msrp. SO right when I tell the salemen okay, some other salemen comes and puts a sold sign on it. :mad: :ermm: . Boy am I pissed. That's the last one they had. DAM. Well to make a long story short they had a 04 400ex sitting right next to it. I got that for $4800 OTD. Well I got the same bike I had before. I went there with $6200 cash. The difference inmoney now I can mod the S%^& out of this one. What do you guys think about the extended warrenty. Should I get it? Now I just can't wait until I can ride again. :D :D :p :p

that was pretty stupid of you..should have checked other dealers now your stuck with a 400ex...for 4800 to! what a rip my dealer is sellin them for 4200 otd

its not sutpid if he relay wnated a 450r he would of waited he wanted a quad there and he got one 4800 for a brand new 400ex is real good. the dealr up here had a one day sale the had dvx 400 for 4100 out the door and yfz's out the door at 5200.

they call my dad up becase he wnated a ducati 999 and the price was 18.500 3 days ago and they droped it to 13 grand in 3 days and its his now.

its not sutpid if he relay wnated a 450r he would of waited he wanted a quad there and he got one 4800 for a brand new 400ex is real good. the dealr up here had a one day sale the had dvx 400 for 4100 out the door and yfz's out the door at 5200.

I checked about 4 different dealers and each of them just sold out of there 04 450r's about a week or two ago. I'm sure there are other one's out there but I think I did pretty well, I've been looking for about 6 months and to tell you the truth I waited long enough to get this one, It's the same one I used to have just 2 years newer. I probably could have waited for alittle while longer and saved more money and got an o5 450r but I'm happy with what I got. Hey look at it this way, at least it's not a yamaha....
